Requirements:

  • At least age 21 at time of hire
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to pass a written and physical ability test
  • Be a US Citizen
  • Ability to Pass a Comprehensive Background Investigation
  • Ability to Meet Physical, Medical and Psychological Requirements

 

Salary and Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $4630-5909/month
  • DPSST Certification Incentive
  • Intermediate 2.5% base hourly rate
  • Advanced 5.0% base hourly rate
  • Instructor Certification Incentive 1%
  • Physical Fitness Incentive 2.5-4% Dependent on ORPAT time
  • Longevity Pay 1.5% after 10 years of service
