ODOT Project Alert: Paving and ramp closures on U.S. 30 in Rainier
To preserve and improve the road, ODOT plans to:
- Remove and grind down the existing surface.
- Rebuild and install new pavement.
- Apply permanent striping and reflective markers.
- Install a concrete barrier along the center of some sections of the road.
Construction Impacts
When construction starts, you can expect:
- Crews working during the day.
- Ramp closures with detours.
- Lane and shoulder closures with flaggers directing traffic.
- Lane shifts as needed.
- Construction noise and delays.
